THE SIMS 4 UPDATE FAILED

Hi...the Update: 01/13/2015 – Version 1.3.32.1010 for Sims 4 will not update I keep getting a "dowload failed" please help

Hi. Sorry if this is a little confusing, but  try checking your Task Manager, there will be a tab saying processes or something along those lines, its the next tab after programs. Try finding the sims 4 or origin on the list and manually close it by hitting the end task button. then restart origin. It worked for me with the last patch where i had the same issue. The cause is that sims  tries to run in the background while patching and then the download will fail.
