I haven't been able to access the Sims forums (forums.thesims.com) for several hours. I just get a message saying 'Something has gone wrong. Please check back in a little while'.
Is the site down for maintenance and when will it be back up again? Or is it a problem at my end?

Hey all,We're investigating the connectivity issues occurring on Forums.TheSims.com with our forum host at the moment.I don't have an ETA to provide currently, but we've been assured that they have teams working on resolving the issue as we speak.
This issue has now been resolved.

Same here.

Started having this problem this morning.
The Error Message Appears every single time I try to log in, and it also appears when I click register.
When I click on a page number of a thread in the forums I access through a search engine link, I get the error message.
If I click on certain usernames, my own username included, I get the error message.
I have been able to see the user profiles of EA Users in the forums. Non_EA User Profiles can't be accessed.
Error seems to happen exclusively on the Sims Forum. I have full access to the EA Help Site and the Game Worked fine this morning.
I've cleared the cache of the EA App per the instructions of EA Help, and that did not resolve the issue.
I've tried accessing the forums through Google Chrome and Safari and encountered the same error message. Safari is the Web Browser on my Iphone. Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge are on my PC. Can sorta see things in the forum, coming from a search engine link, but once I'm in the forums, that's when I encounter problems.
Right Now, I reinstalled the EA App and reinstalled the sims after backing up my saves, mods, and tray. That did not resolve the issue.
I cleared all of my browsing history, cookies, and everything, and that did not resolve the problem.
I'm probably going to step away and wait until things are resolved, but I wanted to share the things I've encountered while troubleshooting. I hope it helps in some way.

I can't access The Sims forum today; the site is down. What's up with it? Is it scheduled maintenance or is there a problem?
I'm not on X/Twitter, which is the only other place I can think of besides here where people might be getting information about this. And if you're not logged into X/Twitter, you can't view posts chronologically, so it's basically useless as a source of information for those of us without an account.
So, can we please get updates about whatever's going on with the forum here, EA?

Through Bing, I was able to get to the discussion section of the forum, and I was able to look at the different discussions. However, I can't access any of the discussions. If it's an EA User Profile, I can click it. If it's a normal profile, any normal profile, I get the error message. I took screenshots of what I could click.

The First Link in the Search Engine Doesn't work, but a link that comes later does work. It's just very strange that some things are accessible while others aren't.

The Tabs at the top of the website are accessible but none of the links under the tabs are accessible. What I can see is superficial, but I get the same error message whenever I click anything to go further into the website.
The links for log in and register do not work.

Apologies for multiple posts, I wanted to share screenshots of what I can see and access in the website just in case it helps. There's a limit to the number of screenshots I can share.
