Game won't load

The most recent update won't allow my game to load. I haven't played it since the update two days ago.  Now upon loading the game it will start the plumbob loading screen and then crashes. Please help. so that I can play this game. I'm starting to get to the point of disappointment with this game.

Do you have any mods or CC (custom content)? Try taking that out.
