I tried that. I keep getting that "The requested operation require elevation". My game was fine yesterday.

DX11 still doesn't seem to run as smoothly vs DX9. It seems very stuttery vs a smooth DX9.

Platform: PC (Asus, Windows 10)
Which language are you playing the game in? US English
How often does the bug occur? Game crashes within 10 mins of play when -dx11 is employed, every time.
What is your current game version number? 1.109.185.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All EPs except Eco Lifestyle, All game packs except Batuu and Vampires, All stuff packs except Paranormal, All kits excluding Castle Estates, Basement Treasures, Grunge Revival, Poolside Splash, Riviera Retreat & Cozy Bistro.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Launch the game, go into any Save and play in Live mode for a few minutes, clicking around
What happens when the bug occurs?
I'm able to get into my Save(s) and play for between 1 minute and 1 hour depending on if it's a brand new game or if there are Mods. Eventually I will click on something, the whole game will freeze, the screen goes completely white and then crashes back to the EA App on my desktop.
What do you expect to see? I expect the game to launch, and to play for hours if I choose before Saving and Quitting.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? I do have some Custom Content (no Mods) but I have already tried taking them out - it does not change anything. Even with a fresh save, it only lasts an hour tops before crashing.
My graphics card is NVidia Geforce GTX 960, Driver version 561.09. Only going back to DX9 makes it playable. My computer is old so that may be part of the problem, but it meets recommended requirements for the game.

@Foxley828 Can you load a different household within the same older save? Use Load Game rather than Resume, and please test a couple different households, preferably at least one you've never played.
@deblake60 It sounds like your antivirus has blocked any element of Sims 4. So please check its settings and exempt/whitelist/trust/etc. anything that looks Sims 4-related, and EADesktop.exe as well.
@exome5135 Please post a screenshot or two of what the game looks like in DX11 mode, or photos if the screenshots look normal. Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

@rileewadsworth As a test, please try playing in a clean user folder. Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, if it launches, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just let me know whether you can get far enough to start a new save and play in live mode for a bit.
If that doesn't help, please run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

@59deae362f1cf9c4 Do you have mods or CC in your Mods folder? If so, do a "vanilla" test to see if a mod/CC is your problem: Move (not copy) the Mods folder to the desktop (or rename it), delete the file called localthumbcache, open the game to test, and exit without saving. If not, please let me know if you're on a PC or a Mac and what other testing you've done.

It is whitelisted in my AV, as well as with MS Defender. I even made sure that it had access to the Internet. Like I said before, everything worked great before the update today.

@deblake60 Just to be thorough, please disable your antivirus (temporarily), repair the game, and try again. A few AVs are especially stubborn these days.
If that doesn't help, please post a screenshot of the error, for reference.

@deblake60 With your antivirus disabled, does it help to repair Sims 4 and run the EA App and the game as an admin? Right-click the App's desktop shortcut to see the option. For Sims 4, you'll want to specifically find TS4_x64.exe in [install location]\The Sims 4\Game\Bin.
If this doesn't help, are you signed into an admin Windows account? And what antivirus do you use? (There are a few players with the same error; I'd like to know if there's a common factor among you.) I'd also like to see a dxdiag; you can attach one to a reply here.

I am logged in as Admin on my PC.
I use AVG and MS Defender (well, Defender is pretty well forced on me). I uninstalled AVG thinking that may help.
I rebooted about a hundred times.
As for the TS4_X64.exe it is already on my desktop from a suggestion someone else had provided. I did make sure that I had full access and even Admin Rights.
I ran the dxdiag as you requested.
I even made sure all my drivers were up to date.
This is very troubling and frustrating.
I do appreciate all that you are doing for me.
