ufc 2 no control in fights

my pad works fine with every game i own(over 100 tested about 30games) but on ufc 2 as soon as i get into a fight i have no control what so ever besides for analogs it might work the occasional 2 seconds then gone again , tried with another pad same outcome both are fully uodated

What system are you on? Do you see a different between playing online or offline? I take it that the pads work during the menu? Can you complete the tutorials? It may be worth reinstalling the game, or restarting your system as a test.
