Will Gameface ever work again?

The EA Gameface website no longer opens (or has a server error as soon as you log in) - and the service itself hasn't worked since June of last year.

I've complained ad nauseum about the service not working, and at this point I'm sure EA have killed it. I'm not surprised, but all I'm asking for is confirmation that Gameface support has been discontinued. If it hasn't, then why is it now completely unusable?

Let's hope that in UFC 5, we have face templates that actually look human... without this feature, the creators in the EA UFC community are suffering.
