sims 2 double deluxe invalid registaraton code

I own a copy of The Sims 2 Double deluxe. I believe the registration code worked before considering i remember playing included expansion packs: (night life ,celebration stuff)  although i also have a copy of The Sims 2  stand alone cd's. I wish to play these expansion packs with university life collection but said it is invalid.

Can i have a new code that works? and, Will i be able to play both double deluxe and university life collection together?
