Will Origin release sims 2 to origin again? [ Edited ]

For many years, since I was a kid, I had nearly every expansion came out. But when sims 3 came out, they stopped working on my pc at the time and I gave them away to a family member who loved them more than the other versions of sims. Now that I have a new pc, I've since tried to purchase the packs again but now I can not play them because my PC claims that a pack is installed when there is NO FILE ANYWHERE for them and keeps telling me to go from one disk to another before it flat out says that it can't run the game.

So I was wondering, since I was too late for the 2014 giveaway, does origin have any plans on releasing the games again like that? My files work better though origin than the disks.

If you own the games you can still get the game on Origin even if you missed the give-away!
Contact an EA game advisor, and either tell them of your problem and ask if there's possibility to upgrade to a digital version of the game, or ask for The Sims 2 Ultimate Collection directly.

There seems to be quite some demand, but absolutely no official response from EA in sight. It's unusual for them to skip a clear money-making release.
