Was given a free download of the game due to the fact I had the disc already. Definitely recommend talking to EA support for help!

Just got my copy by going through the EA help page as described in post #123. Gave them my Origin email and verified the serial # from one of my S2 games. They added it to my library within minutes. So excited!

Just got my Sims2 Ultimate, still works. I contacted through facebook and they provided the game in a matter of minutes even though I'm not from The US

October 2018 now, and this process still works. I have all of my discs still, but the person I spoke to didn't ask for them. Just asked me to write on a paper with today's date, the EA Case ID, and my signature. Then I had to take a photo of that, and attach it to the chat. The person I spoke to was very helpful. Game is downloading now, can't wait to play!!
