[The Sims 2] Compatibility with Windows 8/10

i just got a new laptop recently and decided to install my sims 2 game and a few of my expansions because i havent played in ages. sims2 (original) installed easily, but every expansion i've tried to install has crashed after i put in disc 4 of sims 2. i then decided to just play the original version without any of the extras and got told that i couldnt play it due to compatibility issues :\ is there any way i could fix this and continue to play sims 2 on my new computer?

what windows do you I had problems with the sims 2 ultimate collection with windows 7. But I tested windows 10 and it work you have 4 days to upgrade to 10 for free. also just got finish playing the sims 2

you must have windows 7, 8, 8 1.0r to upgrade

plus update display card, and other dirvers  and other updates from mircosoft or the company who made the parts and made the computer
