Sims Medieval

I just purchased the Sims Medieval package that comes with the Pirates and Nobles as well. I installed the Sims Medieval but when I went to install the Pirates and Nobles it said that it could not be installed because the Sims Medieval I had installed was not updateable and compatable. How can that be, if I bought them as a package? 

Then when I went to play the Sims Medieval sans Pirates and Nobles, the load screen only showed up with the Sims Medieval icon and a white box. No play button, no nothing.

I am very unhappy and need this fixed.

Can you check on Origin if your game is updated ?
