I got a free copy from Origin the other day and I downloaded it and did everything you would normally do when you get a new game. I opened the game and it goes through the loading screen and the little intro video that you can skip through if you just click your mouse. After that, it goes to the screen that has the Sims 2 title and the expansion pack "Fun with Pets" underneath. The music is playing, but nothing is happening. There's nothing moving. I don't see a loading bar or anything. I went to the task manager (it shows my desktop in the same size screen the game was in) and it says the game is not responding. It does this every time and I don't know what to do.
Edit: When I go to the task manager to close the program, it tells me Sims 2 EP9 has stopped working. If that helps at all.
