Sims 2 Ultimate Collection Crashes after Origin Update

I cannot get the Sims 2 to load past the first loading screen.... I tried the to Update the sims game since it showed an update and I tried repairing it. What's with all these issues?

The issue is that's it is a very old game not built for never operative systems :P
