i got the sims 2 university life and i cant install it becuse i have a windows 8 and it doesnt have a drive and i already tried to redeem my code and everything but i cant seem to do it right i really want to play and i cant seem to; im new to the sims world please help

It's not possible to personally register Sims 2 on your Origin account. However, if you contact  a game adviser they can do it for you. You can contact them here: http://eahelp.ea.com/en/ . For help with navigating the site, see this: http://help.ea.com/en/article/contact-ea-help/

Once they've registered the game for you, you can open Origin ( http://origin.com/download ) and login using your account details. You'll go to your My Games and download the game from there.

On a side note, you cannot play the Sims 2 University if you do not already have the basic Sims 2. University is an expansion pack and requires The Sims 2 to run. You will need to get the game adviser to register both for you. 

To get the Sims 2 to run on Windows 8, you will also need to set the compatibility to Windows XP (Service Pack 3). Right click on your game icon (not 100% sure how it looks on Windows 8) once you have it installed. Go to "properties" and then to the compatibility tab. Set it to Windows XP (Service Pack 3). It should then work successfully
