simcity 4 wont launch

hi,

tried to contact EA for support a couple years ago, tried to fix this problem again but the case just put on solved. while it aint. i can download simcity 4 from the disc but whenever i try to launch it it says i dont have permission as a admin while i am the admin. i have the original codes with the box. if someone could help me that would be very much appreciated!

I can see SimCity is on your account. Can you try downloading and installing through the EA Desktop app?

sorry for the late response. If you mean the origin app then yes I tried it but it didn’t work.

Sorry about that. We have released the EA Desktop app to replace Origin, but you should still be able to use Origin. Can you try launching Origin as an administrator? Right-click on the Origin icon and choose Run as Administrator. Let me know what happens. Thanks!
