stuck using republic in ranked fleet battles

how do i swap to imp side? when i swap from pub to imp it puts me back on pub side, when queing up for fleet battles

this same thing happened to me a few days ago. It eventually ended, although I don't know what caused it. So hopefully it will go away with time.
