What were you doing when the bug occurred? Step by Step detail is helpful. Changed to help wide aspect / ultra-wide users: Right after briefing with Wedge in the Skies of Yavin missions, upon launch game crashes to desktop. Other random missions in Story mode play fine, while others are crashy at wide aspect ratios. Even when loading save-game or restarting mission, game crashes to desktop unless you are single monitor, and changing monitor back to wide aspect after mission loads ALSO triggers instant crash to desktop. Game also crashes to desktop during fleet battle training after briefing before game loads, unless it is single monitor, windowed. FIX: Change screen resolution to single monitor windowed
Where did this issue occur? Please include menu name or in game location. In game, each time gameplay loads on "picky" missions. 75% of them seem to work fine, but will crash to desktop when these missions load on ultrawide aspect ratios.

Changed title and body to be more helpful to other users with ultrawide setups.

Can confirm, switching to windowed mode and shrinking the window to a single monitor (1920x1080) loads the level... BUT, when the level is loaded and you drag the window back to full screen, *instant crash to desktop.  Looks EXACTLY like an issue related to aspect ratio.  Hopefully they'll fix it and widescreen players can get some joy.

EDIT:  Not all missions in Story mode crash.  Yavin seems to be one, but after that the next few missions worked fine at a wider aspect ratio.  Hope this helps.

More issues persist.  Could not get the game to load, so restarted a new story with Imperial pilot.  Since then, multiple issues have presented, including:

crashing my keyboard and mouse drivers, game crash to desktop, audio cutting in and out out during cutscenes and during gameplay.

Multiple attempts to repair or update game have been made.  The game has been out for less than 4 hours, and I have crashed/restarted well over a dozen times.

Fleet training for multiplayer also triggers crash to desktop

I have the same problem, can't continue with the story because it crashes during the loading screen of the "Skies of Yavin" mission.

Newest Nvidia driver is installed, using ultrawidescreen 5120x1440 resultion with HDR and 70hz

@DarkRhinon I am doing ultrawide as well, 5760 x 1080. I have also tried different windows (borderless, fullscreen, etc) and Vsync on/off with no success.
