Unplayable: Game does not start after EAC splash screen

Update:

NVIDIA released an updated driver.

Game still fails to load, but there is now an error screen indicating a missing .dll file. (see attached)

I've been unable to play Squadrons now since it updated earlier this week.  When I attempt to launch the game I see a window that states "Launch Error Failed to start the game", and there is a blue exit button displayed on the window (I've attached a screenshot of the window).  In the file C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\EasyAntiCheat\gamelauncher.log I have the following:

I uninstalled and then reinstalled the game but I'm still seeing the same error.

Also, please note that if your issue did not start out exactly as described (i.e. if you are getting an error message, black screen, etc...), then you are not in the correct thread.

I'm having the exact same issue (Easy Anticheat loading window pops up, bar fills, then loading window disappears and I'm kicked back to Origin) and tried all the troubleshooting steps I've seen described and linked. I'll upload a more detailed report when I have more time.

Frankly though I'm kind of worried since I'm finding threads like this one about EAC with other games: in this case a very similar sounding issue in an ongoing, 700+-post, almost two-year-old thread with people still having the same issue.

I just want to play the game, and it seems like the anticheat software is making that impossible. I don't even care if people are cheating tbh.

Well I actually just opened Apex, (through Origin as well, and it also uses Easy Anticheat) and it didn't have this problem. It's something about Squadrons. I was running the game fine a couple of days ago, so it's not system requirements or anything like that.

doenst look like were gona get annything for a while, EAC recommends a fresh reboot, but i would rather not

Had the same issue and was funny to say I found the solution:

There are 2 loading screens for the EasyAntiCheating - while the 2nd screen finish loading, tap "Enter" and it should work. CRAZY
