Same thing. It was working fine for me except for chapter 9 wouldn't load. MP worked fine, wonderful. You guys patched the chapter 9 thing, nothing works.

Hi everyone,
Thanks for your reports.
I don't see this highlighting in this thread yet, so if you are experiencing EAC issues, we first recommend following the steps listed in this article: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/faq/troubleshoot-easy-anti-cheat
If that doesn't help please upload your log files in this thread so we can have this investigated: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/guides/logs/
If you have further questions, feel free to leave a comment in this thread.

Today, after weeks not playing Squadrons, i got a similar issue (see attached file).
A dialogue window appears: Easy Anti-Cheat -- Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [Lightingservice.exe]
All i can do, is to click the OK button and then im back to desktop.
I tried the easyanticheat_setup.exe and did da repair, that did - of course - not help.
W10, Ryzen 3800XT, X570 Tomahawk, RTX 2080Ti
all latest drivers
Update: I found out, that lightingservice.exe is from ASUS Aura, which is automatically installed by MSI Dragon Center (which i did uninstall more than a week ago already, but it seems, that uninstalling MSI Dragon Center does not delete several services and files, what sucks. nevermind, I closed the lightingservice.exe service in task manager, then deleted the lightingservice directory in the program folder. Now the game starts with no issues.

Same issue with failed load after installing latest patch.
Origin Client
Had no issues loading prior to patch
Unsuccessful fixes:
Unable to upload log files into this thread because .CSV, .ZIP, .XML, and .PML files are not supported.

Same problem as those in here. I usually get the message "Launch Error: Failed to start the game." Origin then automatically tries to start the game again with the same result.

@Straatford87thank you so much for addressing my issue!
Here are the EAC logs, together with the PPL procmon logfile.
Unfortunately this forum system does not support .zip (or the file is to large), so i'm uploading it to an external site:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jcI8djU9ylCDNweYfTWtXIizERS3yOSQ/view?usp=sharing
The games in EAC are numbered, i didn't know which one was for SWS, so i included them all.
I have also noticed that the EAC logfiles are encrypted, so you might need to contact EAC in order to decrypt them.

Hi All,
Please do as EA_tom asked and upload the log files (you can use google drive).
Just zip the contents of %APPDATA%/EasyAntiCheat
Then add to that zip the output from https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/game/guides/logs/
Let's help them solve this thing once and for all!
