Star wars Battlefront cannot connect to ea servers on ps4

★★★ Newbie

This started a day ago when I tried to play battlefront multiplayer but it would not let me. It says I am on offline mode which I am not as at the time I was locked into to psn and could play mp on other games. Whenever I press the button to connect to online it will wait a few seconds and then do absolutely nothing. I have downloaded the latest patch and cannot think of any reason why my ps4 would have any problems. Thanks in advance.

Hi @HTSFM@ducreate

I don't have a PS4 but I think you should try these steps.

PlayStation 4

  1. Press the PS button on your controller to bring up the XMB™ screen.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Choose Application Saved Data management.
  4. Select Saved Data in System Storage.
  5. Choose Delete.
  6. Select the game you cannot connect to.
  7. Delete all game data and squad or roster files listed.

Note: When you play a sports game online, the online roster automatically downloads before your match starts.

My game keeps crashing after it connects to their servers. I can't even play online anymore.

I have already logged in to the website. It logged in just fine. Is there something else I should do?
