The begining of good times :
to day there is a new update and the good news is that I can launch the game off-line

The connection I use right now blocks any chats and games on-line, but in 1 hour I will be at home, and I hope the game could be launch on-line too.

I hope it will be the same for all of you too !!

But we'll allways don't know what happened between Webroot and Easy Anti-Chat...

I had the same problem and by coincidence I found the solution for my problem: It's been my HOTAS!

I own a very old Thrustmaster model and as long as I had it plugged in, Star Wars Squadrons and several other games (MechWarrior Online, Post Scriptum, MS Flight Simulator) would refuse to start. A soon as I plugged my HOTAS out, all the games launched perfectly fine again.

I guess it's time for a new HOTAS for me...

Mine still taking forever to load (using a new HOTAS). Even running a practice sim takes forever. Almost unplayable. At least they fixed the control lock up issue but getting very sick of this game. What's wrong with EA??

@bucknasty03XX I may be a bit late to answer this, but I had the same issue. I changed the scaling from 300% (Recommended) to 100% (Windows 10 Settings --> Display) and was able to see the game menu fine.
