No sound in game [ Edited ]

I have been playing the Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order game for quite some time and other than not getting any mods to work have had no problems. Yesterday I started the game and had sound all the way through the introduction. As soon as I hit "Continue" on the screen and the game itself booted up I lost all sound. Since I had sound originally. it had nothing to do with the sound being turned down or off. What can I do to get sound into the game?

Check to make sure your audio drivers are up to date.

I have the most up-to-date audio drivers.

Again, I have sound through start-up and it only cuts out after I hit  "Continue" on the last screen. This happened before after I have been playing the game for many hours. I don't remember what I was told to do previously. Whatever it was, it worked. I have been playing the game for many hours since then until this second occurrence.

Apologies for the late response. Are you still having trouble with this? If so, are you using speakers or a headset?
