Dear EA Sports,
I am a master student in a Swiss University.
As a matter of fact, I am looking to create an Esport committee in my school starring multiple EA Games. Although I have already developed a "business plan", the school administration do not allow me to freely create it.
Indeed, their legal department assume that as the games are owned by a private entity (EA) it may result in litigious outcome for the school by associating their name to Esport events starring your games...
Being an Esport passionate student, I am keen to understand what are the "legal" conditions to be able to host Esport events and create an Esport committee without putting my school in troubles... As a matter of fact, I am not only looking to organise Esport Tournaments at school for students but as well playing the games occasionally without any competitive purposes. Thereafter, would my school be in a litigious situation if by creating this Esport we would only organise some gaming evenings without any competitive purpose ?
Thereafter, could you help me understand what "legal" procedures I may follow in order to legally and "freely" make students enjoy EA Games in my school under a student committee management ?
I would highly appreciate your help,
Loïc
