Same problem here. I died the first time but still somehow got the datalog entry. Returned to the arena but the spider does not spawn. I purchased this on Steam. Killed the 3 other monsters but this is blocking me from the achievement.

I got my hands on a disc version, seeing if achievement will pop or not; after following directions...

On Xbox One by the way...

It worked!  Loaded up save and spider reappeared, killed it, and then saved.   Went online; got patch; loaded save; walked around a bunch.  Achievement occurred minutes later... after i went back and saved near the spider again.

Got there, died and now the Albino shines with it absence (lol )

@brandedrespawn Any ideas for a fix on this one? Or at least a reply so we know someone from the team is working on it... 

Seems it was working pre-patch as some users report being able to load up from physical disk offline BEFORE patching and it works. However this is not an option for digital users.

yup, we've identified the problem and are working on a retro-active solution to respawn the missing spider for y'all. no ETA yet, but hopefully soon

Update: we ran into an unrelated issue that has been delaying the patch, but it is coming

Woot! Completed everything in the game, just waiting on this to go platinum.

Btw, if Devs see this: anyone notice after completing the storyline and going back to Bogano, the Binog (giant dragon) is gone? I've confirmed that he isn't down in the cave below where he usually sits. Was this intentional, a glitch, or just me? I'm on PS4, digital copy.

If you bring him back, can you also setup an "interact" with that chair across from him that only unlocks after you reach platinum, so you can sit down for a much deserved Binog repose? ...would be interesting to have one such place on each planet, each with their own hidden platinum trophy....just spitballing...
