PvZ2 downgrade from jade league to soil league

So I've been on jade league for weeks now and two days ago I woke up and was suddenly on soil league! Huh?! I contacted EA help and first guy told me I was not eligible to be restored to jade league. Why not? I earned it! I challenged him and a second guy told me players are routinely moved from jade to soil as there's nowhere else to go. How about you leave them there? And I don't believe the 2nd guy at all. If he wasn't lying to me, then it's a crime to be in jade league. Might as well stay in gold league.
