Connecting Origin to Xbox Live [ Edited ]

I am trying to play PvZ:GW on Xbox One.  I am getting prompted to create a new origin account and when I try to link my Xbox Live account to Origin it won't let me saying the account is linked to a different Origin account.  How can that be?

Have you played any other EA games that required Origin?

Yes Simcity, SWTOR, Mass effect. None of which are on my Xbox

Its forcing me to create one it will not let me login

If you logged into you origin account on a computer couldn't you just link your account that way?

Have you tried contacting origin to see what's up?
