Character levels don't work for server based multiplayer

So I had problems logging into the game last night (Failed to load save data) and tonight I can login fine, load the menu screen where it shows my correct player level coins etc. I can check my character unlocks and they are all there. As soon as I join a multiplayer match howevever I'm a level 1 player with level 1 characters, no unlocks and no coins.

If I host a match I'm a level 35 with all of the unlocks etc.

Just curious if anyone else has been hit by this especially after last nights issues?

Seeing how this is the answer for pretty much everything on this board, did you try clearing your cache or hard-booting?
