Changing Language

How do I change the language? When I change the Origin client language and repair the game it's still in the previous language. Do I have to uninstall and download the whole game again? I can see the language files in the install folder, so it should be already there.

Got it! Use Regedit and go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\PopCap\Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare

then change the Locale string to one of these depending on the language you want:

en_US

fr_FR

it_IT

de_DE

es_ES

pt_BR

Unfortunately you'll have to uninstall the game. Before downloading it again, ensure the Origin Language is set to the language you want, then download and install.

Supported languages: English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Portuguese
