If you don't have an decent gameplay experience why are you talking and inflict defence on EA? I see you often defend EA tactics and I'm pretty sure you are pointing to get EA attention. Meybe you should apply for an job to EA. (I think you are fit to defend them as a lawyer)

@Pair_Demons First, if you are going to go on a thread about bugs, at least post something pertaining to that. Second, I never said I was not having a good gameplay experience, I said that I have experienced some but not all of those bugs. Thirdly, as I have said man times, I have a job already. Just because I look at things without complaining does not mean I want/need a job. Also, the lawyer comment was stupid.

1 The guy who opened this topic said he has a full list of bugs...
2 You replied to him with an EA link to game updates that only show a small fraction of game bugs that have been fixed.
3 Again the topic owner showed you bugs that are still unfixed and very annoying for him.
4 Your reply some kind like this "oh I don't play too much online and I have no idea of your problem".
- This only shows that you don't even bother to read this guys problem but you came to defence the real problems, (that you have no idea about), by posting some EA news. And you do this most time in your posts: defend EA.

If you would read what i said, I said that those bugs he was talking about is probably more online and since I don't play online I only experience a few of those bugs which I also listed what I experience. I also linked patch notes that showed what bugs were fixed at the time. No one said all of the bugs were fixed. I not once said anything even close to "I don't play online so I have no idea of your problem" like you claim. I also say in many threads that I look on the outside looking in unlike people like you who just come on here to bash other people or the game. If you are actually going to post something, post something that is part of the conversation like what was going on before you came in here being antagonistic. I do not understand why we can't just have a normal conversation in a thread without someone like you coming in and throwing everything off.

Re: Why is EA not listening to fans?

@Tombadole

1. The very games you've mentioned as favorite in the series, have less cars than Payback. I do agree on the fact that tuning should be made in the old way (upgrading the part, not replacing a card).

2. Customization...Definitely needs a  lot of work there.

3. Freeroam - we had that in NFSU 2, MW 2005, Carbon, Undercover, MW2012, RIvals and NFS 2015. None offered a truly satisfying experience (if you ever played the original TDU, you might know what i mean). The AI for cops should have the determination from NFS 3 and the tactics from MW2005,

4. Offline - i completely agree that we need a good offline. I loathe the concept of Mingle Player (SP with MP, where other players can get into your game and wreck it). I want SP to be SP and MP to be MP. Don't need a mix between the two.

5. Lootcrates - they can keep those, as long as they put cosmetics in those and nothing that would affect the actual gameplay. If someone wants to buy a decal/skin/whatever instead of farming it, i am fine with that.

6. Story....yeah, pretty much all the racers i've played had a mediocre story at best or no story at all. Let's face it: story is a pretext for us, not the pinnacle of the game. And compared with what we had in 2015, this is a tad better

7. Yeah, i can live without the "lol's", "rofl's" and other stuff that no one is using anymore.

About tuning and customization: in our days is a lot harder to get what we had NFSU, NFSU2 and MW2005. Many tuning shops went down, the remaining ones are asking for a lot of money to appear in the game (the use of the name and likeness of those companies is a lot more expensive in our days, sadly)

Payback does have some nice ideas, but i would have preferred to see the game in a longer development cycle, with a serious closed/public beta for the MP side. I confess that the rush to get out a game in any state it is, just to meet the set release date is beyond my power of comprehension. Sure, i understand that there are shareholders to be pleased, but releasing a game with problems hurts the company more than releasing it later, with most of the problems eliminated. That is my personal view, though.

I do not work for EA and i am not associated with the company in any way. I am a player just like you, trying to help wherever i can.I will not answer to any unsolicited PM.

They don't listen unless their stocks and wallets take a hit. The old nfs days are gone it's all about using the nfs title to make money for the company now not the quality of the product they put out

I just can't stand the hypercars they put in the game that have limited tuning abilities and are too fast to enjoy driving them.

I love "realistic" cars like we used to have in UG2. Where you could buy the R34 max it out and it was by far the fastest car in the game.

Now the game kind of forces you to buy a hypercar (which goes beyond 320 km/h) when you approach the ending of the game.

I mean what is the purpose of the 3 end game cars that you unlock after beating the game? Use it online where 80% of the players use it?

Man I miss those realsitic cars we had in UG2... Frown

Ah, I'm almost 40, and have been obsessed with The Sims since before Hot Date came out with The Sims 1.  I know it's a business - but they are running it into the ground.  I don't play Sims 4 and stopped buying the "expansion packs" - and now, the "kits" packs are horrid.  Will Wright must be pissed - they took his idea, which became the best selling PC game of all time!!!, and have pimped out out to nothing. If you need me, I'll be playing SIms 3.....let me know if anything gets better.  I'll die of shock if it does.  I was at Walmart at midnight when "Hot Date" came out with The Sims 1.....................* Maxis
