Shift cd key is already registered

I want to play NFS Shift online.

I can log in to Origin and everything, but when I would enter 'Quick match' for example it says that the cd key is already registered.

 

I bought the game on DVD and redeemed the code later in Origin. The game shows up inside Origin and it shows my product code.

 

I have been to the Support page, but I can't use a phone now, I want to contact you by other means.

Hi @Garofild,

 

You will need to contact a Game Advisor to resolve this issue. They might have to switch your code for a new one if this code is from the disc version. If you are unable to use a phone, select Origin as your Game when contacting us. You should then also be able to start a chat.

Here is what happened.

After some steps the Game advisor game me new product codes.

We tried several things but none of them worked, I was still getting the same message.

He said that a Specialist tried it out and it should work perfectly, etc.

I redeemed two codes on the same account and none of them worked.

When he (did not) gave me the third I was told not to redeem it and launch the game so it will ask for a key.

It did not. Not even after restarting Origin.

 

Finally I was disconnected because 'it should work perfectly'.

I created a new account and redeemed the last code on that which was emailed to me in the meantime, and NOW it works.

I am positive that the problem wasn't on my side.

In this case, it does seem to me that the issue was account related. Or at least, the issue seemed code related. Sadly, I am unable to check up on that further from this channel. It does seem that you have figured it out so far--good to hear.
