So I was playing NFS MW 2012 last week from when this was posted without any problems. I go to launch it now, I get no sound at all. There is no audio at the start sequence, from the cars, or any music. When I launch the game, it doesn't even come up in the volume mixer in Windows. Every other program I use is fine.
What I have done to try and fix the problem:
Restart Windows
Update Windows
Update graphics/audio drivers
Uninstall and reinstall the game including deleting all the files (through Steam)
Setting the Windows compatibility to Windows 7
Running NFS MW as administrator
Any help would be much appreciated!

To check if you plug your headset directly into your PC do you hear game audio?
Also to check have you tried the following?

Hello @EA_Illium
I have not plugged in my headphones directly, but I know that wont change the issue.
As mentioned in the original post, I verified the files through Steam.
I also, although I forgot to mention it, did clear the EA apps cache.
Nothing else has worked thus far.
