NFS Shift online bug

Hi,

Because of the whole lockdown thing me and a friend are trying to play NFS Shift online. Never tried it online before.

I've successfully created the online account using the game menus but am stuck at the 'create persona' stage. It seems that no matter what I enter there the game tells me that it's invalid and only letters and numbers are allowed and it must be 4-16 characters long - even when it is.

Any idea how to solve this?

I have the game on Steam
