Hello.
My NFS Shift 2 Unleashed Limited Edition does not start from the EA app. It gives me the error as seen in the screenshot.
I tried contacting the EA support chat regarding this issue, but didn't help. Starting the EA app as an admin and clearing it's cache, as well as enabling UTF8 in my Windows region settings, as the support chat recommended, does not change anything regarding the error.
I know the servers for this game are down since 2021(?), but that shouldn't be the issue for it not being able to start.
Is it possibly a problem with Windows 11? I tried a clean reinstall of the game and windows, as well as multiple restarts of my pc and the EA app.
Trying to start it in EA app offline mode does not do anything either, here it just does absolutely nothing after clicking the play button, even though it's listed as installed and ready to play offline.
I've read a thread on here from somebody contacting EA support chat about a similiar issue like this, and getting it resolved by getting the game re-added to their game library by the support staff, because the license ran out or something. Maybe this could be the solution here too, although the error message is different. If i recall correctly, their error message told them to check the internet connection and try again. Not that it's a fault on EA's side.

Thanks for the answer @EA_Illium! Unfortunately, nothing helped.
EA app cache has been cleared multiple times.
GPU and basically all other drivers are up to date, the most recent Win11 version is installed.
Compatibility modes on the game and app didn't change anything.
System File Checker Tool ran and found some damaged data, but the error persists.
No background applications running either.
VC++ repaired, no change.
Clean boot did nothing too.
I really do believe it has something to do with the license of the game for my account not being valid anymore or similar, because the error message says "get the game", even though it clearly is in my game library. If I click this button, it also gives me the only option: start the game, but there the same error happens.
Please help
