NFS-HP unable to install

Hi. After validating the serial number, the installation kit for NFSHP starts to copy files.  After a while it will stop right here and that's it.  No error message ever comes up.  Please help.  I just bought it....

Temporarily disable your antivirus software and perform a clean boot before retrying:

so I tried that, didn't make any difference.  Then I left it for a long time.  The progress bar was stopped at 5% for about 15 minutes and then it moved very slowly.  In all, the installation took over 40 minutes.  Is that normal?
