Game won't let me go through "do you want to create a profile" screen

I just bought Need for Speed Pro Street but when I insert the disc on my PS3, when I reach the screen that says "do you want to create a profile"it shows two options, YES and No, no matter what option I choose, a second screen appears, asking if I want to continue without creating a profile, and two options, YES and NO. But again, no matter what option I choose, the first screen asking if I want to create a profile appears again. And so on, on an infinite looping

At what point in the game do you get this screen, immediately when you turn it on? What happens when you delete the game from your PS3?
