I bought yesterday NFS RIVALS. The installation was good. When I start the game I get the message:
Direct x function '' Createpixelshader for ( null)'' failed with E_invalidarg ('' An invalid parameter was passed to the returning function''.)
GPU: '' Ati mobility radeon HD 4600 series'', Driver unknown.
Kind you help me with this problem

You know times when you realize a problem with something and it turns out the only way to fix it is to completely disassemble it and start from scratch?I think the silence on EA side regarding this directx issue have some similarities to those kind of situations.
knowing EA, they are probably putting resource on how to justify and get away rather than fixing it.
It seems that they were not yet aware of the scale of the issue when they admitted it in an announcement.
I hope i'm wrong though...!

Hi Bros, I hope this would solve the problem for people who are having secondary graphic card installed such as Nvidia, AMD, ATI etc.
Go to the My computer -> properties
Properties -> Device Manager
In Device Manager, go to Display adapters, in that right click Intel(R) HD graphics 3000 and then click disable and now run the NFS rivals and make sure that the another graphic card is enabled.
Please note : This method only works for the people who are having another graphic card installed in the computer.
This solved for me and NFS Rivals runs perfectly.I hope this solves for U people too.

Iv`e finished Crysis 3 withouot any problems. Not single crash or instability. There`s must be something wrong with Frosbite 3 engine. All other game working without any problems only Nfs Rivals crashing with error GetDeviceReasonRemoved DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG. The game crashing after 15 or 30 minutues, random not only when racing also in menu. Maybe memory leaking or confilct with hardware, the game engine is buggy. Downclocking graphic card doesn`t help. My config.

It is a problem with the game. None of the solutions you provided work. There are links to youtube videos where one can download the fixed .exe file and then run the game. EA is simply not releasing an update which support older graphic cards. You and ATI/Nvidia wants us to spend our money to buy new graphic cards and this is one of your tricks.
Update for Battlefield 4 fixed the same issue. Don't try to fool us
