Why can’t we import created Be a Pro players from one edition year to the next?

I only play BaP mode and I have to make new players from one year to the next. I have never played more than two and a half seasons with my guy and I would like to actually finish a career and retire a player.

It would also be neat if one of my players sims with his team while I’m playing another. Currently I have two created BaPplayers on different teams. While I’m playing one, it would be cool if the other is gaining experience through summing with his team. Even better if the two teams are playing each other I would get to play against my other created player as an AI, if that makes sense.
