Need some help from others familiar with NHL 14. I don't know how this happened but I'm stuck only being able to coach the game, not actually take control of the players. Button presses just bring up the menu at the bottom of the screen to affect strategy.
Now there is a "position lock" before the game starts in the line changes section and choosing "CO" is for coaching and you can choose C for center, G for goalie, etc. However turning "CO" off and leaving it blank still leaves me playing coach only. I try all the position locks and still am stuck coaching. I have found no way to play in any mode of the game anymore. I'm stuck coaching and can't find a way to turn the thing off.
Doesn't matter if I'm playing a quick game, season, winter classic, etc - is this a glitch or am I missing something?
