Thane's loyalty mission

I don't know why it is happening but I can't complete Thane's loyalty mission. I can start the mission, talk to Bailey, then go talk to Mouse, then go back to Bailey and choose the Arrest Elias dialogue option but then the cutscene just stops and I can't complete the mission. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, I would appreciate it

Try to repair the game. (in Origin > Game Library > right click ME2 > Repair)

(If you use mod the would be purged by the repair.)

I use the disc version of ME2, I tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling and nothing changed. I am going to uninstall and reinstall again and if that doesn't work I don't know what to do

You can redeem the cd key in Origin and get a digital version, that might be the easiest solution.

(Origin menu > Origin > Redeem product code.)
