Wii U servers down

Hello EA world! I love to use madden 12 on my Wii U. Yes I know old game and old console but every time I try to use online it gives me a notification that says, "Sorry, it appears the EA servers are currently down. We are working to address the problem. Please try again later. For additional information please see ea.com/unable-to-connect." At first, I just thought that's weird maybe it will work later but it has been down for several years. So I went to the website it told me to and got a thing for Xbox Switch and Playstation. I still followed the tips checked my internet connection multiple times but nothing worked. I am finally coming to you guys to ask whether or not it is still possible it will work or if you guys just did this to get people to buy the new madden. (This is the latest version of madden available on the Wii u)
