Same issue for me. Germany - ISP Vodafone. Followed all the official steps as well as the unofficial (resetting MAC address). How can this still be an issue after such a long time. Random rant: how can you be so keen on the shop perfectly working but not that people can even connect. It's such a no brainer to work on.

"Servers cannot process your request" is a general connectivity error which could be a local network issue, server disruption, or caused by an ISP outage. We recommend performing the connectivity troubleshooting steps below if you experience any trouble connecting to the servers.
Please check EA Help on Twitter, PlayStation Status, and Xbox Live Status to see if there is an outage currently being investigated.
