QB playing Defense glitch?

#9 Tony Romo (92 overall) keeps being inserted as a SS/FS in my ultimate team, especially when running man coverage. However it doesn't let me change him out because according to my depth chart and starting line up, he isn't on my roster under any defense position. At the main ultimate screen I've tried checking my lineup to insure that he isn't under some sort of defensive slot and he hasn't been. This glitch has been present, for me, ever since the most recent update on madden 16 for Xbox one (2-3 days ago) any help?
