If you are on PS$, go to library, highlight Madden 18, and go to information.  One of the things will say "Download Status".  See where this is.  I had this problem, but I found out it is still downloading the full version.

They should tell u that the game is gonna take 18 hours after u download it to play, and that all the time u spend using the stupid superbowl mode
counts against the download time.
