Getting past Game Prep on Madden 17

On Madden 17, I was basically forced to have my coach retire & create a new one, but now I can't get past the game prep section to advance to the offseason. There's no option to move forward, why??

Were you eventually able to figure this out? Which platform do you play the game on?

Unfortunately not. I have a Playstation 3 & I play offline. Not sure what could be causing the hangup. I've done everything possible to figure it out, was hoping I wasn't the only one this has happened to. I just sorta moved on & created a different team for now.....Thanks
