Your profile does not have the correct permissions to access this feature

When I try to play an online game in FIFA 15 ultimate team, I receive the message "Your profile does not have the correct permissions to access this feature". I have seen similar posts about this in the past but none of the mentioned solutions has worked for me. I spent an hour on the phone with an EA help desk employee (who spoke very little english) yesterday and made no progress before she hung up the phone after putting me on hold. My profile age is set to 18, I have Gold, and my privacy settings are on adult. Someone please help me

Were you able to play before or has this occurred since you purchased the game?

Are you using a digital or physical version of the game?

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? If so please provide a list of the steps taken.

and I have the disc.

I don't think it will be the troubleshouting but I don't know how to do thata
