I've tried everything to resolve this with no success. I've heard from many that unplugging all devices from you pc's usb ports resolved the issue. I have many devices plugged into my computer, and I think it's not having any additional devices apart from your game control, but rather a device from a specific company that could be causing the issue. I have a lot of thrustmaster devices plugged in and after removing them I still got the crash, but after just unplugging the one Saiteck device - rudder peddals - from my computer, the game finally gets past the loading screen and starts.
I read elsewhere that someone unplugged their saitek device and got resolved this issue as well. I think there is a conflict with Saitek device drivers and the game or additional devices on your computer. Maybe this can be patched out by EA or has to be addressed by Saitek.
