FIFA 15 Player Career International Tournament Problem

So, after chatting with EA Sports customer support, I may have a potential workaround for this issue, but I have not tried it yet. Here is the exact response I received during my chat:

Thanks for waiting. Just finished discussing your case with our Specialists and he said unfortunately this is a known bug on their team. A workaround he said is to 'end the season' and when the game is preparing the new season select i think B to interrupt it. You can then play that game. However this is not explained and most people would be afraid to interupt the new season setup for fear of messing something up.

Many of them believe its due to only be playable during the FIFA world cup time and others believe its due to only being a specialist ranked player in career to play it. But there is no official statement yet from the FIFA Studio about it.

Discussion is still on progress about this known bug.

Give this a try guys and I hope it works. Post your results after you try this and let me know if it works!

ricema89...appreciate the post...i am on xbox one....i don't recall seeing an option to cancel the "End a Season" "Preparing New Season" menu....i recall it on xbox360...or one fifa 14....but i do not think i can cancel it on xbox one.

Just tried the above, however all this does is take you back to the previous save. Still no option to play to play the tournament games.

Playing on PC here, but pressing the B button (or escape on keyboard) doesn't seem to have any effect while it's setting up a new season. The weird thing is, I see my player has still played several matches and scored several times when I look at the statistics. It's good to know it's a known bug to them at the very least, though any word on whether they actually intend to FIX it would have been even better.

I have the same problem South African overall 89 st get selected on news but get no mail and games do not show up on central sucks really but I'm gonna wait hopefully they fix it

Doesn't seem like something that should be so hard to fix.

ud think they would have fixed it in this patch if they knew about it...for some reason...it ruins career mode for me...ive stopped playing fifa for bits of time...might as well just quit playing and keep an eye out for 16 next year...see if it is as bug prone as this then ill skip buying it

It's just incredibly disappointing that they can't put in the time to fix a small problem that ultimately ruins player career. I actually don't play any other mode. Player career is why I buy the game, so this ends up ruining almost the entire game for me. I'm tempted to get pro evo just because of the possibility that I would have a fully rewarding player career that allows me to actually accomplish things that I want to.
