Change EA account linked to xbox

I've been trying to change the EA account linked to my Xbox account because I no longer use that old account, but after multiple attempts with advisors I've been told there's nothing they can do. That's why I'm asking here does anyone know?

What if my Gamertag or PSN ID is linked to the wrong account?

If you have both a Gamertag and a PSN ID but they’re on separate accounts, or if they’re linked to an account you don’t use, we have a few options for you including:

• If your Gamertag and/or PSN ID are linked to an account you don’t use, you can https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/if-you-forgot-your-ea-account-id-or-password/ to get back in the game.
• If you created an accidental second account with your primary email address and want to move it to your account with your games, https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/account/accidental-second-ea-account/#move
• If you’ve got multiple EA Accounts with games on them, but your console ID is only linked to one account, one of our advisors may be able to help move your other games to that account.
• If you have multiple EA Accounts with games and console IDs attached to them, we’ll discuss options for moving those accounts with you. We can only move them to an account that does not already have a PSN ID or Gamertag attached to it.

The Xbox 360/Xbox One and the PlayStation 3/PlayStation 4/PlayStation Vita both use their own types of account for managing your games and online interactions; Gamertag for Xbox, and PSN ID for Playstation.

For EA games, these accounts should be linked to your Origin account. 

Note for Next Gen Consoles: Your gamertag or PSN ID carries over from Xbox 360/PS3 to Xbox One/PS4.
If you have played any EA game on the last generation of consoles, please make sure you find and use that same account when you play on next gen.

Linking your accounts:
Your Gamertag/PSN ID and Origin Account should be correctly linked when you first access an EA game online if you use the same email address for both.
We recommend that you check your Origin account to ensure your emails match. 

If the email address for your Gamertag/PSN/PSVita ID is different than the address for your Origin account, connect them using the steps below:

1. Open the Origin client and click the Friends button, then Add a Friend. If you do not have the Origin client installed, you can download Origin for both PC and Mac.
   
   
2. In the Import Friends menu, you can choose to "connect" your Xbox LIVE, PSN, and EA accounts. Simply sign in with your account details to connect.

It's an account carried over from Xbox 360can it still changed?

I'm getting confused, sorry let me go in a bit more depth. I have an old EA account linked to my Xbox account that I would like to unlink this way I can use my current EA account, I can't seem to find a way to unlink it.

if you do not use it and you do not care for it i suggest you delete it if you can

@bowserking1234 I have this problem too i tried to sign in into battlefield v but i couldn't cause i used my gmail on an account that i forgot password on
