Can't pause or change tactics/mentalities, match stucks on half time.

How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It happened two times in my last 4 games.
What happens when the bug occurs? From the get-go of the match I can't pause or change the tactics/mentalities and when comes half time the players just stand on the middle of the pitch and the game won't pause so I can resume.
What should be happening instead? Game should pause so I can start the second half.

CMON EA. I just played another 4 games and it happened again once. In this state the game is literally broken.

Happens to me too. First thing i notice is the crowd reactions disappear. No cheering at goals or 'Awwww' when you miss, just silence. Game doesn't react to the start button on my xbox controler (windows 10) or the Esc key on my keyboard. Come half time the players stand around, and the assistant referee comes walking out of the boarding on opposite side and crosses the pitch on the center line holding the substitute/extra time sign....
Can only Alt-F, take the 3-0 loss and no points...
