I recommend you call EA and complain. That’s what I did and I was told that if there’s still enough interest in the game, they may update it. When you call you can refer them to this thread.

The game Life, the one on the lower left corner, will it get updated any time soon? Cause I love that game, but ever sense I got rid of my IPod and got a phone, it won’t even show up in the App Store, I only see it by looking at what games I’ve bought. So...will it ever be available for IPhone 7?
